200 CLUB We currently have 68 payments into the 200 Club account, which is a slight decrease from last year. If you paid last year as a one-off payment, and haven’t done so already, please do consider renewing your membership for this year too or, better still, set up a standing order going forward. Please can I encourage OSBs to join our club.
All the funds raised go towards the payment of prizes and, more importantly, to help fund extra-curricular school projects or OSB ventures, where required. Many thanks to Pam Rumney for designing and distributing our on-line form, which we hope provides an easy sign-up option, details of which may be found below.    Entry forms can be completed online here. We currently have a total of £2,400 in the bank after the draw on OSB Day 2025, which was held during lunch in the Foundation Dining Room.

If not, please do because… By taking part it gives you the chance of winning a top Prize of around £200 and it also helps the school and the Society. All money raised goes towards supporting the school and the St Beghian Society. Over the years, a variety of projects and clubs have benefited within the school by the purchase of such things as canoes and a canoe trailer, a donation to the Car Kit Club and assistance with sports kit and sports tours. In the last few years, the 200 Club has donated £3,000 to the school library, which is now open, and £500 to the school’s Eco-club. More recently £600 for the purchase of tents for the Duke of Edinburgh's award has also been given. These contributions were very much appreciated by both the school and the students, who greatly benefit from these activities and facilities. For just £2 a month or £24 a year (the price hasn’t increased for about 40 years!) you are entered into one draw a year, and the more members we have, the bigger and more prizes there are. Remember, it is possible to have more than one number in the draw – and hence potentially to win more than one prize! We do hope that you will consider joining in with this fun, but also very worthwhile, 200 Club draw. Why not buy a ticket for a family member or for friends – it could be a ‘different’ and lucrative Birthday/Christmas Present or Gift for someone? Thank you to all of you who are already members, your support is very much appreciated. And we very much look forward to welcoming many more new OSBs to the draw soon.
